Our grantees act from lived experience and creative vision. So, first, we listen. Then we follow their lead, offering resources without bureaucracy, conditions, or ego.

About Lorna Jordan
Lorna Jordan was a trailblazing artist who believed art could transform how people connect with nature, place, and each other. She blended sculpture and landscape into public spaces that sparked conversation. Her work challenged convention and treated viewers as collaborators, not just observers.
Lorna didn’t follow trends, she challenged them. Through deep research and bold design, she often unearthed overlooked histories and brought artistic imagination into places where it wasn’t expected.
This foundation carries her legacy forward by supporting people who, like Lorna, use bold ideas and collective action to address urgent problems and bring alternatives to life.

The Lorna Jordan Foundation is a private philanthropic foundation based in Seattle, WA. It honors the legacy of its founder, the late Lorna Jordan, who gave her entire estate to advance her deeply held values and beliefs. The Foundation is governed by a passionate board of community members with deep experience and expertise in the arts, social justice, and philanthropy. We’re committed to equity, humility, transparency, and action.
